The EXIM Awards for Corporate Finance Achievement 2020 in seven categories were presented to members of the financial system.
Raiffeisen, Budapest Leasing, Unicredit, CIB and K&H received one of the most prestigious awards for financial institutions, this year’s EXIM Awards, in a total of seven categories.
As the Hungarian export credit agency, EXIM works with 40 financial institution partners to finance the corporate segment of the export sector, including commercial banks, lease companies and financial corporates, who disbursed nearly HUF 400 billion in new EXIM loans or leases in 2020 under refinancing arrangements. The award ceremony was opened by Levente Magyar, Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, and Gergely Jákli, President and CEO of EXIM.
The winner of the Transaction of the Year 2020 category is CIB Bank Zrt. for its export stimulus investment loan to Óvártej Zrt., which best embodies the financing objectives set out in EXIM’s strategy.
Each year, the prize is awarded to the transaction that best represents EXIM’s mission and resource insurance objectives.
Our investment aimed at capacity expansion, job creation, profit optimisation and, last but not least, foreign market expansion and growth, in which we can participate jointly with Cib as a financier, embodies to the maximum the corporate strategy that Cib Bank represents as an export financier.
